Greetings,
So the time has come and the time is now, for all the fun to end. Thursday, Den Haag saw the last concert I had with Dave Phillips and C-utter left a day before that. Suffering from post-touring trauma at the moment, it has been an incredible month and it will take a full post [...]
After the grueling tour through Germany, Czech Rep, Hungary and Austria, I have been home for a couple of days recovering from exhaustion before heading off again this Friday for a tour with noise guru Dave Phillips and Barcelona darkest ambient duo C-utter!
The latest print edition issue of Italian media magazine Neural has published the previous web review of the Bufferrrbreakkkdownnn Arkestra in the E-Music section (Issue 32)! For those of you that don’t know of this magazine, it was started in 1993 by Alessandro Ludovico as an Italian only publication for both analog and digital [...]
The story behind is written story is somehow always more interesting. The processes involved forms the road map of the mind (and sometimes beyond that) of the author, an open book so to speak, the window to the soul. In describing the journey I have taken so far, I hope to transmit better the idea that what is summed up normally as a conclusion in a paragraph long press release, album sleeve note or a book length graduation thesis, is merely surface scratching at best. This is a story of a mind in constant flux during a certain period of creative explosion.
So 2009 has brought much clarity contrary to the current climate of uncertainty. The rest of my year is more or less planned out and lots of wonderfully shocking surprises await.
Back from the wonderful Make Art (free libre open-source software – FLOSS) festival in Poitier organizes my the equally wonderful collective Goto10 and on the way to another weekend of Floss-ing in Bergen Norway at Piksel. So its been absolutely crazy these past months. The site has seen some welcome additions with a page dedicated [...]
[...] All this will climax on Saturday the 08th of Nov as One Man Nation will perform at the first of 3 experimental music/art/computing festivals, the noise infested MEM festival in Bilbao. End of Nov will be the Makeart Festival 08 in Pointiers France (28/11/08) followed the week after with Piksel 08 in Bergen (05/12/08).
3 weeks back, guess it is time for a full coverage and pouring out of gratitudes to the ones that made life enjoyable while far away from home. This is the follow-up post to Bye Bye Barna, Bye Bye Spain.
Some good, or rather great news coming from here. First off, One Man
Nation will be returning to Bilbao for the MEM Festival in Nov, this
will coincide with the week long Festival de Improvisación
Multidisziplinar (FIM) at L’Mono where I will be giving a week long
workshop on programming your computer to make it an improvisation
ready instrument (well try to at least).
